What is the difference between LVT, SPC, and WPC flooring?
LVT is a flexible PVC-based flooring, while SPC uses a rigid stone-plastic composite core and WPC incorporates a wood-plastic composite core. Compared with SPC and WPC, LVT provides better flexibility and acoustic comfort, whereas SPC offers higher rigidity and dimensional stability.
What is the wear layer in LVT flooring and why is it important?
The wear layer is a transparent protective coating applied on top of LVT flooring. It determines resistance to abrasion, scratches, and stains. Typical wear layer thickness ranges from 0.2mm for residential use to 0.5mm for heavy commercial applications.
Where is LVT flooring commonly used?
