ESD Flooring Solutions by YH FLOORS: 1800, 2000, and 2100 Series

Table Of Content

YH FLOORS, a leading antistatic flooring manufacturer, has three popular options: ESD Tiles 1800 Series, ESD Sheets 2000 Series, and ESD Sheets 2100 Series.

1. Dimensions and Packing

1800 Series: These tiles come in a standard size of 600x600x2mm and are packed in carton boxes.

2000 Series: Sheets are available in rolls measuring 2m x 20m x 2mm, offering continuous coverage.

2100 Series: Larger rolls are available in dimensions of 1560mm x 15m x 2mm or 2000mm x 15m x 2mm.

2. Electronic Resistance

1800 and 2000 Series: Both offer a range of 1.0x10E04-1.0x10E06 ohms and 1.0x10E06-1.0x10E09 ohms, ensuring effective static conductive and dissipative.

2100 Series: It provides a wider range, up to 1.0x10E05-1.0x10E08 ohms, catering to high-end ESD control needs.

3. Conductors

1800 and 2000 Series: Carbon fibers are used as conductors, which ensure partial anti-static properties. However, these may result in “hot or dead spots.”

2100 Series: Instead of carbon fibers, oxidized metals are used, eliminating carbon sloughing and offering superior and uniform anti-static properties.

4. Surface Properties

Antibacterial Properties: All three series boast antibacterial properties.

Scratch Resistance: Only the 2000 and 2100 Series feature UV coating, making them scratch-resistant.

Flexibility: While the 1800 and 2000 Series can return to their original shape after bending, the 2100 Series goes further—it can be folded 360 degrees without breaking.

5. Maintenance

Waxing:

1800 and 2000 Series: Waxing is recommended to enhance anti-static properties.

2100 Series: Wax-free technology is integrated, with no waxing needed for at least five years, reducing long-term maintenance costs.

Surface Treatment: The 2100 Series features automatic wax-release technology, ensuring consistent performance over time.

6. Cost Considerations

Flooring Cost:

1800 Series: Low cost, suitable for budget-conscious projects.

2000 Series: Moderately priced, balancing performance and affordability.

2100 Series: High cost, designed for premium applications with advanced performance.

Waxing Cost:

1800 and 2000 Series: High, due to regular waxing needs.

2100 Series: Low, thanks to its wax-free design.

You can choose the ESD flooring solution that best meets your requirements by evaluating your application’s requirements.
